By working directly with the linguist crafting your text, you can easily get answers to all your questions, avoid the added costs of an agency, and ensure consistency throughout the text as well as between projects.

Translation is my vocation of choice.  I love language and have the insatiable curiousity needed in a good translator.  I have lived in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom and am not only comfortable in both French and English, but am familiar with the cultures of both the source and target languages.  I translate only into my native language, thus avoiding the amusing mistakes so often made by non-native language translators.  I am a driven and diligent worker, never satisfied with my own work and always willing to put in extra time to make sure I get the job done right. 

As and when individual jobs require, I work with professional editors accustomed to editing a wide variety of texts including: journal articles, business correspondance, academic texts, legal contracts, marketing texts, and more.  For legal texts requiring specialist knowledge, I consult with a lawyer who passed the Bar in California.

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in French - cum laude
